Lynne Hasselman

Lynne Hasselman has written for the Ashland Tidings newspaper and been a guest on JPR’s Jefferson Exchange and KNCP 107.3 FM. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo, and a Master’s degree from Portland State University. One of her favorite quotes is by author and historian David McCullough: “How can we know who we are and where we are going if we don't know anything about where we have come from and what we have been through, the courage shown, the costs paid, to be where we are?”

When she isn’t writing at one of Ashland’s many coffeehouses, she loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and yellow Lab.
